About Kathryn

Kathryn Severns Avery, founder of Tiara Training TM

Kathryn began her journey to become a life coach more than seven years ago while making major changes in her life.  Not sure how to proceed with the transition, she worked with an internationally known life coach who wore a tiara as part of her life coaching and marketing efforts.  She asked Kathryn to wear a tiara in public for a week as an exercise to help her embrace her power and get over her fear of other people’s opinions.

The experience of wearing the tiara literally changed Kathryn’s life and cured her of the tendency to value other people’s opinions more than her own.   She shared her experience with her coach and realized that there was a book to be written about the experience. 

The result was Tiara Training and the rest, as they say, is history.  Tiara Training uses royalty archetypes, fairy tales and, of course, a tiara, to help women step into their power, be their own Fairy Godmother, and live happily ever after.

Kathryn has been spreading the word about Tiara Training™ working as a motivational speaker, seminar leader, and coach.

The success of Tiara Training™ prompted requests for a compatible co-ed program and Crowning Achievements was developed to fill those requests.  Crowning Achievements also utilizes royalty archetypes and entertaining interactive exercises to create a plan to achieve significant milestones for clients.  Continuously seeking ways to empower people, in 2009 Kathryn launched “Happily Ever After,” a program which combines individual coaching with college workshops and seminars to help college students make the transition from college to post-college life.

Kathryn’s background includes work in radio, television, and public relations.  She is the author of several books including Tiara Training™ and The15-minute Fairy Godmother – How to Change Your Life in Just 15-Minutes a Day.  She has written articles for national publications, and appeared on numerous radio and television programs. 

Kathryn, her husband Chris, and their house full of cats are living happily ever after in Denver, Colorado.
